Full Time Server

The Tokeland Hotel is the oldest hotel in Washington State, known for its history, hospitality, and honest, beautiful food made from the best local ingredients. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable full-time server to join our team. We're a destination restaurant; our guests drive from far away just to eat with us. We need someone genuinely passionate about hospitality, who's excited to deliver it from the moment a guest steps onto our property. If you love making people feel taken care of, we want to meet you. We are a Slow Food Snail of Approval Award-winning restaurant with a focus on cooking hyperlocal food.

Qualifications

• Genuine hospitality instincts and a sense of humor.

• Ability to stay warm and attentive when it’s most busy

• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently.

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• No vaping, smoking or drama.

Compensation & Perks

• Washington State minimum $17.13/hour plus an equal split of our service charge, plus you keep 100% of any extra tips on top. Our servers regularly clear around $40/hour.

• Up to three family meals per day.

• Potential for staff housing.

• Thanksgiving through Christmas off.

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays off Labor Day through Memorial Day.

• Work in a historic, oceanfront setting with a supportive, small team.

• You'll get to visit the farms and meet the farmers, growers, bakers, and makers behind what's on the plate, and take part in staff field trips throughout the year.
