July 4 Parade + Picnic

  • The Back Lawn at Tokeland Hotel 2964 Kindred Avenue Tokeland, WA, 98590 United States (map)

Old Fashioned Tokeland 4th of July Parade & Picnic

The first Tokeland parade was in 1976 when neighbors came together to celebrate our countries independence. The family picnic and field games, like the famous sack race and water balloon toss, were added a few years later making the Saturday closest to the 4th of July holiday a date to remember.

Note: If you're watching the parade, follow the signs to park in the extended lots; parking at the Tokeland hotel is reserved for guests and handicap parking only.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the Tokeland parade.

Plan to be at the Tokeland Marina no later than 10:30 AM to line up

Tokeland Road will be closed to car traffic at 10:45 AM

At the marina, entries will receive their entry number for the judges and participation ribbon

Judges are in place to award the trophies given to participants in the following categories:

  • Best animal entry

  • Best children entry

  • Best car

  • Best float

  • Judge’s choice

  • Grand prize

See you in Tokeland for this old-time celebration and family friendly event!
